What Safe Apply does

Safe Apply fills job application fields using answers you have already reviewed and approved in Vertical Headhunter. It keeps final submission under your control.

Data the extension handles

• A short-lived, signed handoff token
• The employer application URL
• Your approved application answers, which may include contact, location, or voluntary health-related information
• The selected, approved résumé file and its filename, content type, and integrity digest
• Field-fill results and employer submission confirmation text

How data is used

Data is used only to fill the application you selected, download and attach the approved résumé when the employer form requests a file, require a final confirmation before submission, and report the result to Vertical Headhunter. Safe Apply does not sell data, use it for advertising, or transfer it for unrelated purposes.

Storage and retention

The handoff and pending submission state are stored locally in your browser. Résumé metadata may be included in the handoff; résumé file contents are downloaded only when a matching employer form requests a file and are held in memory while the page is open. Local handoff state is removed after a successful callback, when invalid, or when the extension is installed or updated. Handoff tokens expire on the server.

Website access

Employer application forms are hosted on many independent domains. Safe Apply reads visible form fields only when a signed handoff exists for that page's exact origin. Without a matching handoff, it does not inspect or transmit page contents except to announce its installed version to the current page.

Your control

Safe Apply never bypasses login or CAPTCHA challenges. It can attach the selected, approved résumé to a file-upload field. It blocks submission if the résumé cannot be downloaded, verified, or attached, and pauses for unknown required fields and a typed SUBMIT confirmation before clicking an employer's submit button.
